Here's more on the jerk Harbaugh.
That article is so completely one sided I can't believe it counts as journalism.
The recruit (Swenson) committed to the previous coaching staff. There are multiple reports that Harbaugh and his coaching staff asked Swenson to come to camp and workout for them, and he refused. He never took an official visit to Michigan, nor anywhere else. His senior season didn't impress the staff, and he was either told or hinted that he should look at other options, which he either didn't understand or completely ignored.
The truth most likely is somewhere in the middle. But I don't believe for a second that Harbaugh pulled the rug out from under this kid yesterday, and that he had no idea it was coming.

they offered and accepted his verbal commit 2 years ago, they renewed it when the coaching change took place, they renewed it again, there are recruiting dead periods and spots get filled at other schools who will not over recruit/recruit over a commit. So the kid got screwed but probably learned a lesson. Harbaugh has just lost some other recruits and families that pay attention to this in the future.

Off the top of my head, I believe Michigan (which was a powerhouse) won the first 20 of 21 meetings between OSU and UM - from 1895-1916 or so - off the top of my head - so the 58-49 overall record is misleading as I doubt too many people are excited what their team did in the late 1890's to early 1900's - Michigan has a great program no doubt about it and this comes from a Buckeye - but, we have won 11 out of the last 12 meetings with UM's only win against the worst OSU team in 100+ years
