That's kind of hard to believe. Serious college runners manage 70-100 mile weeks pretty regularly. You really only have time for three miles on one day? You can't add three miles to your Friday 8 on a day which leads into the weekend when you wouldn't have classes? You don't have a gap between some morning classes when you could get a 2-4 mile run in? You can't run more miles in on Saturday? If you can't increase your runs through the week you can't but that doesn't change what would be more beneficial.
