I managed to take an unintentional off day on Christmas because I ran out of time to run. By the time I had put on my tights and everything (no shorts over them btw), the rest of my family was ready to leave for a relative's house. It sucks because now this week is gonna end up being only 30 mpw or so. sigh....

30 mpw is decent this time of year.
Be thankful for any running.
My foot is injured and I'm stuck indoors. I need a break from visiting and celebrating, but forced to wait till the pain is gone. -
I have a broken ankle so i hopped on one foot for 2 miles am now my knee and arch in my foot are sore

did a 16/9 double to make 25 on the 25th. I hate running and need to do these types of gimmicky things to motivate myself. also allowed me to stuff my face with no regrets.

40 minute trail run with my teenage daughter. Nice X-mas morning.

11.5 in DC. 3 mile warm-up, then 2x2miles at tempo effort with 4:30 jogging recovery - Hains Point was misty and completely empty around 7:30 am.
After the workout, I finished the run by joining some friends to check out the National Christmas tree. It really was a great Christmas morning. -
2 mile jog then 5k in 19:58. I'm an older guy (47) and I try to run a sub-20 5k every Christmas Day to prove to myself I'm not slowing down too much as I age. It was tough this year with the ridiculous Dewpoint of 68 yesterday here in NC. One Christmas in the future I won't be able do it, close call yesterday.
PS: where's my 10 grand Rojo? -

I was just going to ask, does anyone like their in-laws?
I do -- mother-in- law, at least. She is good-looking and inappropriately, but discreetly, affectionate. Some versions of crazy are OK.
Ps. Yes, there are pics, but not for you. -
I'm 49. so just a joggy jog, 16 miles in about 2 hrs. it's nice to be outside, get some fresh air

10 easy
Relative had basketball practice at 5 pm Christmas day. D1 school hoping to go to the tournament for the first time. Trying to prove how dedicated they are and whatnot. -

3 miles in the park next to our house with my hubby. We don't usually run together but it's become a Christmas tradition. No other family in town this year and no pressure to celebrate. I love it. Next year we'll have our first grandchild and have to plug the Christmas machine back in.

9 miles with 6 1min pickups.

Didn't run. Recovered from my 2hr 43min bike ride of the previous day. My legs are still sore 2 days later.

48 minutes and some change on one of the all-weather surface river paths outside of Seoul. Neighborhood of 7.

8 miles easy on a soggy, hilly trail by the in laws. 35 and sunny in the Midwest. Importantly, no snow. Gotta love El Niño.

55 minutes by the ocean while my gf biked. 45 min was at my pace and I jogged the last 10 with a friend i bumped into.
lot of kids out on their new bicycles and roller blades, so a bit of chaos to dodge, but that is part of the fun of being out on xmas. -
3 miles in the morning then 9 in the evening with a 4 mile progression. Took a huge sh*t on the side of the road during the run, my Christmas present to the world

You ran around Myles Standish State Forest? That is one lonely place.
