3 miles in the park next to our house with my hubby. We don't usually run together but it's become a Christmas tradition. No other family in town this year and no pressure to celebrate. I love it. Next year we'll have our first grandchild and have to plug the Christmas machine back in.
Easy 37 minute trail run around a lake in Myles Standish State Forest. Beautiful weather!
6 Miles on a Treadmill in 41:50
brisk 30 minutes squeezed in between gift opening here at home and heading to the grandparents
6 easy and then a light 20 min weight session after before I head off to see fam.
I got in missionary for about 3 min with equal rest. Does that count?
Three easy miles nursing a slightly tweaked hamstring with a train-through 10K coming up on New Year's Day. The only saving grace to the suckass weather here in the Houston area is that I didn't have to worry about things staying/getting tight in colder air. That said, I would appreciate some colder air.
Ran 200s on the track early in the morning, then had breakfast (sugar) and got drunk of mimosa's and Heineken. Then did 4 miles drunk later in the day.
11 am easy, conversational 5 miler gabbing with husband and friends, which took about 43 minutes. About 15 of us got together, some only did a couple of miles, most of us 5, and a few added a few more miles. Given a recent diagnosis of COPD, I am grateful I can run, and will be doing a marathon on 1/10. At this point I don't know what my running future will entail.
Less than 30 mins is not a run.
8 min recoveries? Not a workout.
10 in shorts and a t-shirt. Came back soaked. Unusual soupy weather for December here in the north-east. Hate it.

If I run my usual 6.25 miles in 28 minutes, I count it as a run. If I do it on the treadmill, I count it as xtraining.
Well when you're recovering from knee surgery it sure feels like it
Christmas eve was 9 with a 5 mile tempo. Christmas day was 8 easy.
You wish.

Post the details of your Christmas run here. I'll be running in a couple hours so I'll let you know after but planning on a quick 10 for now. Maybe 4-5 on the treadmill in the early evening if I can fit it in. Anyone regularly do a workout or anything exciting for their Christmas run?
There was a 5k race on Christmas morning, so nikeman and I did that. We won overall male and female so that was fun.

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
