And runners who are just to damn lazy to keep their heart rate up at intersections by running in place. They give the whole lot of us a black eye.

Pretty bummed at the amount of drivers who recklessly cut me off to enter driveways when I'm running on the road. Same with crosswalks. I act like it doesn't bother me but to be honest I might flip one of these days and follow them and kick their car and smash a window.

I am going to piggyback on this....Runners who wear all black and no reflective gear when it's night out. Don't assume the cars and drivers are going to see you.

I dislike anyone who doesn't like dogs
I stay away from people who have cats
I can't date a woman that doesn't give oral sex. How else can I watch a movie?
I hate that USATF is losing some championship races due to number/participant's decreasing.
Don't tell me you daily running schedule on FB. If I want to know, I'll ask.
OT's can really get away with having only 12 runners that have a legit shot. So, bam! I just saved USATF some cash! But, no...they'll still invite the 2:19 guys.
As a moderate, I can talk to conservative and exchange opinions, argue and then smile the next time and say hello. I can not get that result with a liberal. Every discussion about politics is the same. They are right and you are an IDIOT because you don't agree with them. And, then they don't want to talk to you after.
Can someone please tell people that chew gum with their mouth open makes them look like a stupid cow!!! And, I mean stupid.
Pants pulled down. That's fashion?
All these hot female teachers having sex with teenage boy students. I had fat ladies with mustaches. It's not fair.

People using handicap parking for arthritic shoulder. Really?
Really fat people wearing yoga pants. Wake up! You look ridiculous and people are laughing.
Moms who try to be "friends" with their kids and their friends. Please.
Kids who grew up privileged and then complain when they actually have to pay for their own kids college tuition. STFU.

Most everyone knows one of my top gripes...those people that wear their Boston Marathon jacket everywhere. It's like "we get it, you ran Boston" I mean, it's always appropriate to wear your bright orange Boston Marathon to a funeral, because, after all, you ran Boston!
Yes.
Or the people who ask you how many marathons you ran, and when you begin, they tell you about their races. "Hey! STFU, I'm trying to answer your question!!"
Those that think by saying they ran 34 marathons in average time of 3:45, is equivalent to someone else doing 4 at 2:14 avg.
-Articles like "10 things runners do" that i see all over social media - and it's actually all things hobbyjoggers do that real runners never do.
-The popularity of running is so annoying. Races have diminished into community events where people pay $40 for a shirt and participation medal. Only a handful of people really belong to be there and the rest are participation joggers who self-identify as Runners.
-People who think running longer distance is harder than shorter distances (no comprehension of intensity) and say you should "upgrade" distance, professing things like "10k is twice as hard as 5k because it is twice as far".
-Winning a road race and the costume contest winners get a better prize
-Not being able to find a 1 mile road race that isn't a kid's race (because people think shorter distances are easier)
-People's obsessions with shoes. Just wear what's comfortable. Your race times are like 99% training and 1% shoe, diet, hydration, and other crap.
-Never being able to train on the local track because it's full of football and soccer losers hogging lanes 1-2 with equipment, even though they have 3 other fields they could be practicing on.
-Multi-distance races that have shared starting and/or finishing times and then you merge with walkers when you should be finishing alone.
-Joggers who do mock celebration poses when getting their photo taken at the finish line, and then their picture gets featured on the website instead of the winner's
-Motivational phrases and memes on social media such as "it doesnt matter how slow you are" that diminish the hard work real runners put in
-People who confuse bulk with fitness and say you need to lift weights or eat more
Skinny runnertards who whine about my crossfit brahs
This thread has been awesome!!
I have to admit that many of things posted in here I find myself nodding in agreement with.
So many good things.

This excitement is not in true spirit of festivus! More complaints please.
My grievance is the lack of running trails in this city. They make bike lanes everywhere but no good new running trails in 30 years.
Hate driving somewhere to start my runs.
I wish people on letsrun.com wouldn't take postings on this board so seriously. Winning on this forum isn't going to change the results of the Presidential election.
