1) It looks like their Kenyan runner drags the average down by quite a bit. He's nearly 30 seconds faster than their #2 guy. That being said, the #2-7 are certainly no joke. To have 6 domestic HS runners of that caliber on the same team is incredible.
2) Didn't Nike used to fly a Kenyan team over for NXN? I recall there was some trouble when the Americans started complaining that the Kenyans shouldn't be in the HS race, which subsequently forced them to be registered in the Open race instead. After that, the practice seemed to be abandoned.
