do you not understand that any division 2 institution can do the exact same thing? It's not some loop hole they've found, you can run for any d2 school regardless of your age. The high school and university system is much different overseas and a lot of kids just don't go to college. Shame on Damon Martin for capitalizing on an opportunity provided by the NCAA. Shame on Adams State for preying on poor uneducated foreigners. Lets make America great again...
Exactly, you couldn't have said it better. D2 is less regulated than D1. All the athletes from Adams that people have had issue with over the years were totally eligible within D2 rules. If you dont like it, change the rules. People are uncomfortable with any succesful athlete who is not a good 18 y.o. American kid embarking on his unique snowflake student -athlete experience. What a terrible attitude. You people want to gentrify D2 running! "Only kids that fit within my culture allowed, anyone different, kick 'em out!!"
Welcome to the fvcking real world. Diversity is good. There are other people from countries outside your own. They have a different background than you. Some people in a America aren't able to go to university immediately out of high school. Maybe they do military. These people just want a piece of our education and athletic system and they are full qualified to do that in D2. They make the whole system better with competition. D2 would be a sad joke without them.
