Being wealthy doesn't mean you're greedy. It means a lot of people have given you their money.
I was not impressed with his performance in Moneyball.
Mr. Pitt got none of my cash after that one.

Which is precisely what liberals don't consider when it comes to CEOs, investors, people they don't like - hence the irony.

Lousy actor, except in 12 monkeys.
The Koch brothers (net worth 50 billion) can express an opinion but not Brad Pitt? He's the hypocrite?

Agree!
Great in Kalifornia too.
A river runs through it.
Legends of the Fall.
Starred in some timeless classics.
I do get nostalgic for the 90's.
"A River Runs Through It" should not be missed.

If you have money and complain about the greed of Wall Street, you are considered a bad messenger or a hypocrite.
If you do not have much money and complain about the greed of Wall Street, you are seen as jealous or stupid or someone without the knowledge to make your own money by investing.
Can't win really when complaining about Wall Street.

A distinction that all too many, liberals and conservatives, fail to make, especially when it comes to the much vilified Koch brothers.
I would guess the objection is not to accumulating $. It's being indifferent to harming others in the pursuit of accumulation of $.[insert "Meet Joe Black" joke here]

An entertainer provides a service that people pay for.
If you entertain a lot of people you can make a lot of money.
A lot of people make money on Wall Street by putting pressure on CEO's to increase profits by cutting costs. And the biggest cost of most companies is payroll.
Wall Street greed affects your paycheck.
If you don't want Brad Pitt making money, don't buy tickets to his movies.
And if you already don't watch his movies, then his income doesn't affect you.
There is a pretty good cause and effect of the effort to keep stock prices up and the stagnation of wages of the general population.

Wonder how big a carbon footprint a blockbuster movie is responsible for? Actors/promoters flying all over the world. Viewers burning fossil fuel driving to the theatre wasting money. All the memorabilia purchased only to be tossed in the bin in a few months.
How many parents, without having their finances in sound order and who have no business spending $30 to see a BP movie, are lured by the trailers into a spontaneous purchase?
Sounds harmful, greedy and indifferent to me.

The big media conglomerates who produce these movies don't try to increase their profits by cutting costs and jacking up ticket prices? You believe they act like charities?
Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

Of Pitt's acting I'm not much of a fan, but Pitt donates a sizable amount to charity each year. And by 'sizeable' I mean in the millions which is a hefty amount even for someone with 300+ in the bank.
https://www.looktothestars.org/celebrity/brad-pittHow much have you donated to charity? If it's less than a few hundred, you're the hypocrite.
can't differentiate between the actor and the media conglomerate behind the product?
