I would think most "folks" would want a law that discourages people from feeling a bit anxious and then letting rip with 4 rounds in a manner which is only likely to result in death or incredibly serious injury.
But then I live in a country where the concept of arming yourself with a deadly weapon isn't seen as a constitutional right which surpasses the rights of children to go to school without fear of being murdered in their classrooms.
Guns and civil rights don't cause murder.
Denigrate faith which denigrates values and families and you raise up a generation of fatherless teens who join gangs or become violent on their own and the law abiding citizens have a greater need then ever for self-defense.
Firearms are definitively documented to be used in self-defense in American homes THOUSANDS of time each year. That is how you protect children;
not by disarming the parents.
With the rise of Islam and other violent crime people need to start appointing designated bodyguards among friends and relatives in every social situation.
And, please atheists, don't run that jive about values/morals without faith.
We all know how those large scale experiments in China and the Soviet Union turned out not so long ago.
