Steve Clark apparently "ran" the Philadelphia Marathon in around 7 hours and 50 minutes, which is close to 18 minutes/mile.
A real runner would be embarrassed, yet this guy wrote an article about it:

The average American relates to this guy better than they do a person who runs 130 miles per week and runs 2:10. That, as the kids say, is #thetruth
-
"Maybe, for today at least, I was a Philly hero."
Rocky Balboa has nothing on this guy. -

Embarrassed ? Why would he be embarrassed ? Because he finished a marathon? I'd say he should be proud. It's not easy to do, regardless of how long it takes you.
And this is coming from someone who is a mid-d runner. -

It's also not easy to bowl 100 straight games, but I wouldn't brag about hitting 30s in all of them -
He's still a better athlete than Mike Rossi. At least he completed the distance.
-
Wow, he really shuffled. Says his brother walked with him for 7 miles while he ran.

There was "a huge crowd of happy-go-lucky runners" finishing the half at 3:20?
Anyway, these are the stories that get some people to look at themselves and decide they're capable of more than sitting on their couch and watching Modern Family re-runs.
And, if you think about it, the more of them there are the more races there will be. So it's good for us, too. -
I know someone who could help him drop his time to 3:11

Its actually harder to finish a marathon in 7 hours and 50 minutes than lets say 3 hours and 30 minutes. That's a lot of time on your feet. Anyone discounting Clark's accomplishment is nothing short of jealous, bottom line.

Oh yeah? Well, it's still not as much time on your feet as I did each shift working as a cashier at Super Target one summer. And I did that 5 days a week, brah. Didn't ask for a medal afterwards, nor did I write a blog post celebrating each day. Nope, I was content to take my $5.15 per hour and STFU. -

Your feet weren't moving your feet continuously, you got breaks and you had an ergo pad to stand on. How about you STFU you lazy pig. -

Wrong! We did not have ergo pads in those days. Two 15 minute breaks in which I didn't bother to sit down, just walked outside to hang with friends from the parcel pickup area. I did get 30 minutes for lunch and sat down most of that. I bet this loser (not an insult, he is truthfully the supreme loser of that race) took breaks too. At least I hope he did, if he was moving forward the entire time and still finished that slow, well, I don't even know what to say. I'd say my lunch half hour was more than made up for by the fact that I did this 5 days a week. I'd like to see this Philly Marathon loser do his thing five days a week. Marathon Maniacs would call him the Greatest Marathoner of All Time, meanwhile I was just trying to save for college and not be hassled by the store manager who was a nazi about little damn thing.
NOW YOU CAN GO STFU YOURSELF YOU DUMB YAK. -

Heck, I'd even say he's a better athlete than Ryan Hall. At least he didn't quit. -
If you read the article...he doesn't seem to know how babies are made. He thinks 2 different sperm (his was the slow one) actually makes twins.

Haha, this is classic. Almost spit out my coffee. Thanks for the morning pick-me-up. -
Brilliant. Not only incredibly dumb, but ignorant of your own stupidity!

You should write in and point this out. Maybe explain about the stork and whatnot. -
Surprised they keep official finishes open for almost 8 hours. Is that normal for a sea level road marathon?
