maybe.
He's getting really, really old. He's gonna need lots of NOPe Dope, Centro Sauce and Oregon Juice.
Fo sho Ches will run under 13 in '16. Will be a Masters WR!

Isn't he 73 or something?
He should start going after Ed Whitlock's times!
At his age, would it be wrong for him to date an 18 year old?
Same things have been said about Bernard Lagat. When Bernard was in college at WSU, many ppl were saying he was a lot older than he was; too old to be in college. But now, because he’s doing well in races against the youngsters, AND dominating masters records almost every time he steps in a race, ppl are STILL saying he’s age-cheat, but now saying that he’s a lot younger than his age. These talks will never stop….
Cheserek does not even look as old as Lagat looked when he was in college. I will not be surprised if Cheserek does the same as or better than Lagat in the future!! Just watch!!
The Jersy trolls are back, promoting Eddie. Why don't you trolls get a life, or do each other in the anus.
No
He's just a B team Kenyan made to look good against college kids

Not sure if Ches will run sub 13, but it's an absolute certainty that the winey-a losers on LRC will continue to be a-holes.
Nah, I'm guessing he won't. He hasn't proven to be any more dominant this year than last year in XC, maybe even less so, and he didn't improve a whole lot between 2014 and 2015 on the track, so I'm guessing he's stagnated for now. 20% chance he breaks 13 this year.
I like Ches, but 13 is still awfully fast. How many Americans have run sub-13 before? Like only 6, perhaps? I would bet that he doesn't go sub-13 until he runs a Diamond League circuit in a post-college year.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but Ches is not an American.

No one says that.
I don't think he has that speed. 13:11 at best.
That is, in the 2016 track season. It's hard to predict what he can actually run since we so rarely see him look like he's pushing it.

I agree, it is unlikely to happen unless he gets into a fast race like the pre 5k.
He won't make such an effort until he finishes his senior year (2017) at Oregon. At that point, he will begin running in major races and start honing himself for international times instead of running for team titles and NCAA individual championships. He will not go sub 13 until he gets into a race with other pros who are running sub 13.

Most B team Kenyans are capable of breaking 13.
He won't run sub 13 even if he is able to more so because it's unlikely he will get in a race that will have anyone run sub 13. How has lalang done post college?
