Wow, you have said it so well. I concur.

Hahahahahaha! You people are too stupid to realize I did this to distract you from my appointment of Paula as an advisor.
Nike will still pay me, I'll still cover for Paula, and she'll continue to advise our friends on how to milk the system.

R U really that stupid?
What's wrong with that observation? We're admitting that in this case a free market doesn't work.

Asking the question: How different is Coe getting paid by Nike than an athletic director of a Nike sponsored state-run school getting a consulting fee?
I know what Coe said, but if you really believe that Coe has ended his relationship with Nike, I have a bridge in Mongolia you may be interested in. Whether he gets money from Nike while he continues on as head of the IAAF, I won't speculate, but you can bet the farm that Coe and Nike have an understanding (an understanding that is NOT confirmed in any of those pesky emails that have a habit of coming to light at the worst possible time) that Coe will be handsomely compensated by Nike for his time as IAAF president after he steps down.
Like FIFA and the IOC, the IAAF has been a criminal enterprise for some time now. Anyone who is a carry-over is tainted and cannot be trusted to clean things up at the IAAF. Perhaps that is a pipe dream, anyway. But, if Coe cared about the sport and had a shred of decency, he would resign immediately, tell the authorities everything he knows, and tell Nike that it doesn't have to cheat and bribe to be a successful business.
Is the IAAF supposed to be some kind of non profit enterprise? It's a business. Nothing more and nothing less.

A free market permits monopolies like the one the IAAF runs all over the world. A free market permits bribes. A free market permits Coe's relationship with Nike. A free market explicitly means there are no rules. The IAAF is the golden example of free market behaviour.
And, BTW, there's still a relationship with Nike. Nothing has changed.

Well for starters, the IAAF is sponsored by adidas, but Nike has already bought up the votes they need to win the contract in 2019. Why should adidas even bid? Might as well hand it off to Nike and let them run away with the sponsorship for a bargain.
Anyone who really believes this is a fool of epic proportions. Coe and Masback are two of the most corrupted people in history of our sport. They are not going to go away without more bribes being paid or threats from John Capriotti and Llewellyn Sparks. I'm not even being facetious here. Checques will still be delivered to Coe’s account at a secretive Monaco bank.
Here is what to expect from any government inquiry of these two.
COE: I am a retired investor on a pension, and I wished to live there (Monaco) as a Jew in the twilight of my life.
MASBACK: I'm a retired investor living on a pension. I came home to vote in the Presidential Election because they wouldn't give me an absentee ballot.
You dunces are in for a very rude awakening should you ever enter the business world.
Welcome to adulthood!

Do your research idiot! Coe isn't Jewish.
I used to give Coe the benefit of the doubt about doping, but now know that he almost certainly was filthy. He has sociopathic politics, is deeply aligned with evil nike, has covered up the doping of bobblehead radcliffe and mo. He clearly has less than zero morals and to me that says he would certainly have had no second thoughts about cheating whenever he could.

Coe was a doper for sure, no doubt about it. He should be in prison.

Do your research idiot and learn where that quote came from
You give no reference, quote or link. Without such makes them your own words. Idiot.
I can't believe I just to be a fan of Coe. It makes me feel tainted. What a b*tch he is. He truly is a mother of other dogs. Who (other than a b*tch) says passive-aggressive stuff like "I decided to drop Nike so I can get back to working 18-hour days without distractions"? He's kind of like, well, I was right, but you idiots can't understand that, so I'll let you losers have your way and I'll just put all my energy into doing something else awesome.
God, what a d-bag. "Right man for the job", my balls.
