Unfortunately I wasn't quite ready for my sub-15 attempt in my hot dog costume this year, so I'm taking more pride in other people's achievements today.
Thus far I've learned that my sister showed true courage at her local turkey trot in Kansas today. On her second run of the month, she stopped at her house with a mile to go so that she could get her dog and finish the run with him. As expected with this stunt, she finished comfortably mid-pack. Needless to say I was disappointed that she sacrificed valuable time from her 5k so that she could run with her dog.
How about you? Give me the low-down on how your conquests turned out.
How did your local turkey trots go?

I\'ve got the trots. Hopefully I\'ll get off the pot soon.

Just tempo'd today. Still a little sore from my Yasso's on Tuesday so I'm saving myself for the jingle bell 5k.

I crushed it winning easily in 1432. After which I stood by the line and yelled gobble gobble you hobby jogger to everyone else as they finished. It was just a tempo for me since I raced last weekend.

17:10 for 4th place.
Couldn't outkick the guy ahead of me, but talked to him afterwords and he is a west point professor which is pretty cool. -

Or maybe he used to be able to run under 24 and realizes that 26:44 isn't that spectacular? -
