I'm carb loading. I've been tapering for my turkey trot 5K for almost 3 weeks. Planning to take 2-3 GUs at the start and maybe one at mile 2. Hope they have gatorade, don't want to hit the wall. I've only ran a long run of 2 miles to get ready, figuring you never want to run the whole distance of the race in training (according to Hal Higdon)
