My biggest positive surprise was seeing the tremendous class that an obviously disappointed Colorado team showed in patiently waiting to shake Syracuse hands after the result. Those young men have learned more than just how to win and run fast. In a time when self-absorption tends to be the norm, their sportsmanship was impressive and worthy of respect.
And this observation is coming from a Syracuse alum.
It looked like Pearson was crying the entire time. I feel really bad for him. Sits out last year when they won a title to try and win a third here and suddenly Syracuse puts 3 in the top 10 and he, Moussa, and Winter have bad last 2ks.
