What are the conditions of the separation?
Are you sleeping in a different area of the house?
Did she move out?
Did she ask you to find a place to live?

She is seeing someone who doesn't run, and wants you to be more like that guy.
She's moved in with her sister for now and plans to see how things go up until Xmas.
I know a lot of guys are saying to just leave her but it's hard and she's so great in so many ways but just doesn't seem to get running at all. For me, running has been like a drug or rather medication, it's like a high.
I think she's jealous of me loving running so much but I know she hates it when I mention fitness and body shape etc. Like a lot of women she's aware of how other women look even though she is beautiful herself.
I actually pounded in a 15 mile run today to just think things over and it felt absolutely magic!

My wife has put us on a trial separation with one condition being that I cut back on running.
Maybe this is the excuse I need to wind my way back into non-running reality.
As for all of you calling this BS, then I know I'm not the only one whose marriage has taken a blow bc of running.
If running has seemed to cause this to happen, then running is not really the issue in your relationship.
Either you trust your spouse, or you don't.
Yep! And if she doesn't trust you, she very well may have a GPS reason.

She must be pretty dumb. Her solution to you wanting other women (in her mind) is to deprive you of her womanly company. Brilliant. You definitely have no reason to "look around" (in her mind) if she's not there. NOT!
I'd leave her, now that she's pulled this little stunt.
She is f*cking your running 'buddy'.
NOTE: Yes, dear reader, the OP is a troll. But so am I. And if this troll was to limit his response to 'genuine' posts he would have very little material with which to work.

Very likely to the exclusion of your wife. That's your part.
I don't know what's going on with the wife but, unless you got kids, cut her loose, eat the divorce, and move on.
Have her come along.
I usually don't comment on such topics but I just have to.
Isn't 'bonk' or bonking a British slang for having sex. I understand why she was concerned.
Some years ago, there was a big sexual scandal involving senior management staff at the Bank of England in London.
These senior level managers were bonking each other in the offices and one of the tabloids ran this headline;
THE BONK OF ENGLAND.
That is how I came to know about the name.
I was just pointing out.
Oh,
I have no solution man.
Ok. This is actually perfect and if played correctly should guarantee you a PR at least if not the privilege of lapping someone. Keep the situation separated and work to make it even more antagonistic. If you build it up correctly and peak at the right time you can run your race fueled by hate, no fuel belt necessary. Its PR town all the way and you're the new mayor!
Surely she is more concerned about your buddy and you constantly engaging in fartlicking sessions, no?
As an ultra guy my wife was floored by my open invitation to try a rim to rim with my buddy.
picture of your wife? I will definitely bonk it with her.

So you're a hobby joggers that identifies as a competitive runner.

That's generous. I give it a 3/10 at best.
You dummies! Don't you see what the OP is doing??!?!
"shed load of bonking going on"
"taken a blow because of running"
"pounded in a 15 mile run"
Don't forget "it's hard and she's so great"
