Stanford can win, as can Syracuse, but CU never runs regionals hard. Ever. They always perform well at conference, take regionals much easier, and then put in a (generally) terrific nationals performance. Wouldn't read into the regionals result much. Particularly when they won regardless.
The only thing that CU has shown at Regionals is that Ben will be at NCAA. They showed what they had to show during the regular season.
What the Regionals also showed us is who the teams (scorers) will be at Nationals. The general consensus is that only one out of the top 10 will not count. The best runners are all on top teams this year.
There is a very high chance that no CU runner will score less than 10 points.
Regionals also gave us more info on Stanford, Syracuse, UTEP...
Where do you see the top 5 CU, Stanford, Syracuse (BYU, UTEP, Iona, Louisville) finishing?
