You should know that you are pretty weak by Letsrun standards. Keep that trolling in the Rossi thread with the other weirdos.
Well he won his last 5K, and ran a 3:11 in a mary. That's an impressive range!

Well more accurately was 9th of 9 people not walking in 23 something and drove 3:11.

That sounds negative. Don't forget that our hero, Cheater Mike Rossi, also beat a few dogs. So you can call Mike Rossi a dog beater.

An update on Mike Rossi, the man LetsRun.com will pay $100,000 if he runs a 3:11:45 marathon or better by 7/17/2016.
Rossi from everything we can determine did not start today's TCS NYC Marathon which he was entered in.
Our $100,000 is definitely safe for today.
If you're not uptodate on Rossi read this article:

Let it go Letsrunemdown.com. Your whole offer idea is lame.

You're kidding right? A non-elite runner being offered $10K for a 5K and $100K for a marathon? That's WMM money right there. There are ton of folks on LRC who would love to be able to earn a living running... or at least earn more than a gift card at their local 5K.
If Rossi had an iota of talent he could really easily train for that 5K time... the fact he's passing up some good $ just emphasises he is a cheater to non-runners who might not understand split times.
It was a great offer.
I wouldn't have had the guts to do it but the Johnson's do.
I take my hat off with respect to those who made the offer.

A stunt. A few more "clicks" for the Brojos. Is that what you want from your "go to" running site? You get the site you deserve anonymous person.

Be patient. He just started collecting yesterday with his 3:23, worth $10,000, and there's still lots of time for the sub-20 and another 3:11, no worries.
I haven't paid much attention to this story, but your $100,000 offer just caught my eye. Even if the guy is in his late forties, does it really seem so far-fetched that he could run 3:11:45 after a year of serious training if he can already run a 21:52 5k and a 1:40:42 half-marathon off of what is probably a pretty casual training routine and at what is probably a pretty typical middle-aged American weight? He needs to hire a good coach and a good nutritionist and get to work!
Exactly. Good on the Brojos for actually calling this as**ol* out on his cheating and chronic lying. They would make pretty solid poker players but then again, it's easy to spot that Rossi was just bluffing with a deuce, seven.
Running is under so much attack just now with the drug cheats on one hand and now on the other we are seeing a barrage of hobby joggers infiltrating the sport with bogus claims of X, Y or Z. This is not only fundamnetally wrong but it simply undermines everyone else who goes out and knocks the hard work in to reach their goals.
What makes running such a great sport is that in essence, it's the purest out there - the fastest, best athlete on the day wins. No judges required, no referees, no video replays and of course it's all done without violence.
The druggies and the Rossi', Kip's of this world are a threat to the sport and need to be exposed and smoked out!
A Rossi thread that hasn't been locked. Does anyone know how the Rossi Posse's 4th was?
Why are they getting locked? Did the AOL lawyer get involved again? Mike has been busy suing...no one at all because that would reveal his cheating.
This story is far from over.
A brief statement on your reasons for shutting these down would be appreciated. Was there a legal threat or did he finally grant that interview in exchange for the lockdowns?

Something stinks in here.
yeah, please unlock the main Rossi thread, it helps stops the weirdoes from mingling with the rest of the population.
P.S. Rossi definitely cheated at that marathon.
There was another thread on someone cheating and it was getting out of hand and i couldn't figure out why people were still posting on it.
It made me think of the Rossi thread. What could people possibly be posting on it and what productive purpose could it serve? So we decided to close it. Feel free to email me
if you think it should be up.
Are these threads supposed to serve a productive purpose?
Sorry Bob, you're opinion is no more important than anyone else's on this board.

We've deleted a lot of posts and are locking this thread because it got way out of hand with threatening posts.
