From mile 10 to 11, it took her 14:41 as she got her ankle taped.
That's probably a record for this type of pit stop.
wonder if she will try to tough it out regardless of the final result giving all the DNFs she's had the criticism.
i can't decide if i think she should pull the plug, or tough it out like 99% of the other typical marathoners.
Nick A?? Other Americans??
Slowed down again.... Arciniaga not crazy far behind but he has some work to do
Moreiera flashes a bright smile, a thumbs up, and a double fist pump to a fan or friend.
ESPN totally ignores the fact the lead pack is running through the halfway point. No half split given.
EDIT: A minute later they realized it!
Is that Craig leon still with the lead pack?
Arciniaga and Craig Leon both caught back up to lead pack, but now they are going up bridge at mile 13 and Nick Arciniaga is being dropped.
1:06:49 at halfway for leaders.
unheralded Birhanu Dare Kemal (#259) still leading.

The announcers pronounced that the "pretenders are done" referring to the 'sub-elites' but there they are again on the front. Love it.
Craig Leon is hanging tough. Didn't go with surge, then worked back up with the 2nd group to merge with leaders.

Yes, because stopping and taping is really easy as long as you carry the tape with you during the race.
Who the hell is the dude with no name leading the men?
Totally EMBARRASSING that DRUG CHEAT Radcliffe announcing, can hardly catch her breath without drugs.
Coming up on 18 miles. Thweat is a threat according to spell check, and I agree. still there in pack of 9.
