ESPN misses the move. As always. Biwott going for it.
Luckily they have 20 hangers-on biking in yellow jackets to provide updates!

Love the bike crossing in front of Kam. Why are they even on the course?
Those bikes need to get the F* out of the way.
Can the sustained push from Biwott the great rhythm runner get him away from Kamwo? If Kamwo is within a goat's throw of Biwott he will be lethal running up from Columbus Circle.
they just cut to commercial in the last mile. wow.

As I said, there must have been some real idiots involved there.

Are they security or what role do the play, clearly know nothing about protocol in a running event!

Exactly. Must be very annoying and distracting for the runners. Get them off. Kam not giving up still stalking Biwott.

Large races are getting ridiculous for the number of hangers-on in the various vehicles, bike packs, tents grandstands and so on.
No backpedalling at all. Just interesting where the lines are drawn at this point. If Kenyans get another big bust we could see it change.Thweatt ran tough. She would be a contender for that up-for-grabs 3rd spot team if she ran the Trials.Sorry to see Sally K having to drop out. Hopefully not an injury.

Best backpedalling of the day right here!
I can't believe they went to commercial with less than a mile left!
STOP THE COMMERCIALS!

Unfair advantage. Gives them a chance to sit & rest.

Anyway, I don't know anything about the guy, just was contemplating outcomes.... :)
Fooled by camera angle. Kam beaten for sure, but still a super impressive debut for him.

Sorry, even if many Kenyas were doping, that is nothing like a doping SYSTEM organized and covered up by the actual Russian Government. Think a bit.
