It's obviously photoshopped. The proportions are off. If that's a real lion, the runners are both the size of Yao Ming.
Original location of the most likely photoshopped pic:
I am ACE-certified in Photoshop, and have taught various applications for about a decade. Having said that, it is next to impossible to detect a "well-photoshopped" image from a 72dpi image smaller than 800x600. If I had the high-res original, I could perhaps detect some trickery by viewing the edges of the lion at the pixel level, but a good Photoshop artist would know that, and would have worked the image at the pixel level with some smoothing and softening. Shadows and other things are very easy to create.
The lighting looks right, and so does the color, FWIW. I think it is real.
My guess is that it's photoshopped. The shadows are just slightly off. The sun on the women is coming from almost lined up with their bodies, however on the lion it seems to be coming from a few degrees further behind.
That, or since it's a setup for a promotional shot it's a training lion on a chain brought in for the shoot.

Lornah Kiplagat, the African born
multiple World Champion in athletics,
is renowned for her powerful, offensive
running style that evokes associations
with a lion. Her nickname is Simba,
Swahili for lion. The lion is therefore
inseparable from the sports brand Lornah.
Those outfits are not appealing.

Actually the sun is clearly to their left. I've been doing this for a living for many years, so I do know what I'm talking about, unlike many other topics.

How about this one, is it legit? This was on their Instagram.
https://instagram.com/p/8P7zdDP3tC/She is a native of Kenya. Lions are man eaters and she knows that. No way she runs by a lion.

They're designed to appeal to Brits, not Americans. I happen to know a few Londoners and a girl from Leeds who consider these the bee's knees.
this is doesn't look real
Look at the white girl's face . . . gleeful to see a dangerous animal within striking distance . . . the lion is also pretty proportional yet looks small compared to the women
The lion and scene look like they were done with a longer lens but the runners look less flat
The ladies were photographed on a treadmill in front of a green screen separately.
I can't tell if things are photoshopped.
If it is real I think it is filmed on a reserve with a more docile lion and behind the photographer is a game warden with a rifle. The lion looks young and unusually clean to me to be pure wild.
I think there is a trainer with the lion off camera. The lion may even have a leg leash that was photoshopped out
That said Masai will walk and bike through lion habitat but they do so talking loudly and wearing red. In that area the lions learn fast do not mess with red.
No way would anyone run past or toward a wild lion.
My main memory of lions in Kenya was the distinction of zoo lions who I never thought twice about and wild lions who caused me to have a fight or flight reaction. I am also allergic to cats so it frustrated all the photo junkies when my sneezing kicked in.
Anyway I think it is real but either a fake lion or one with a trainer and an ankle leash.
Note it's right front ankle obscured
It's definitely photoshopped.
Any Photoshop artist who claims it to be real should get their 'membership' revoked. It's CLEARLY photoshopped.

Yeah, I just said that. It's lined up parallel to their bodies. Directly to their left. But the sun location seems to be coming from a few degrees further behind the lion than the woman.
serious photo=shopping skills used here
Lornah's fine. She knows all she has to do is outrun the other girl
