Here is the story of how the 0.0 bumper stickers got started in our Cincinnati area. About four years ago our running store started a Sit to Fit training program for individuals who were at the low end of the fitness spectrum. If they had never run a race, they were given a 0.0 sticker at the beginning of the program. Then, at the end, when they graduated and completed a 5k, we gave them a 3.1 sticker upon crossing the finish line.
Originally we thought that folks would want to trade the 0.0 sticker, which did resemble a panda, in for the 3.1 one. However, that was not the case. They wanted to keep both to show as a testament of their past and new fitness levels. We ordered these from Bruce Johnson as custom make-ups because he had never seen or heard of any before.
