I would hate to change after 14 years on Athleticore.
The site has really waned -- run 50 mpw and you might find yourself in the top ten list on the home page. That would never have happened back in the day.

The part I would really hate to lose is the current mileage on my shoes. I've got 3 pair going and each would have a different amount of miles. I usually move a pair out of my rotation when I get about 500 miles on them. They look good but I don't want to start feeling the aches & pains from worn shoes so I rotate them out to grass cutting shoes.
still down. Anyone have any info on whether it is coming back?
How do we call Nick the site owner? Seems like maybe he just needs to do something w/Microsoft for the server to reconnect from the error message.
I tried the support email with no luck (bounced back, probably hasnt been active in years). I dont know how active the owner (Nick I guess) is with the site but hopefully he checks on it now and then.
Haha 2010 called and they want their online running log back. There’s so many better options now. Time to move on people…

This doesn't surprise me. Less and less people are using that site and I'm not sure if the owner pays attention to the site anymore. I've been a dedicated Atheticore user, but it might be time to more on.

I'm done -- moved to RunningAhead.
Alternatives to Athleticore list below. Logarun. RunningAhead. What else?
I made a long shot attempt to get a hold of nick. Will see if it is successful. Hard guy to find
Any luck on this? I’m also a longtime Athleticore user. I really don’t want to lose literally years of helpful training data and workout logs...not to mention the current mileage on multiple pairs of shoes! I’ve also tried reaching out to Nick at his email and it bounced. Honestly, I’ll write and mail a letter if I have to, lol.

I've moved on to Logarun. Similar format to Atheticore, but a more up to date version as well. Athleticore was great, but time to move on.
Anyone had any luck? I just tried the two contact emails that I had for the website, both were kicked back.
Long story short...I did a good amount of digging to try to reach Nick. I’ve sent out some emails and DMs (on Linkedin, FB, and Instagram) to the individuals listed on the Athleticore "Help" section of the site. Also, sent Nick a message on Facebook. Was this crazy, yeah, idk maybe...but I’ve got years of training info (and honestly a lot of journaling, reflections, memories with runner friends, race PRs, and improvements in both physical and mental health) tied up in Athleticore. Even if I move on to another website, I’d really be upset to lose my personal training log thus far. Regardless of whether I hear anything back, I truly hope Nick is out there and doing well!

Pretty similar to what I did in terms of searching on linkedin facebook and strava. Some guy on the slowtwitch forums mentioned nick as a friend like 15 years ago. I found and commented on that guys strava but no reponse. Nick and his wife Jen were solid triathletes in the mid 2000s it seems. Might be worth reaching out to various triathletes or coaches around Charlotte. Also I think he created athleticore when he was an assistant coach for a uni/college, not sure which but if we can find what one we could reach out to that coach as well. I'll dig around a little more in the slowtwitch forums
At this point I just want to download my training to excel. I did it a number of years ago but its been awhile. like yourself I have quite a bit of writing in there over the years.
Forgot to mention, there appears to be one person still logging miles. Not sure how, I get an error message on any page that ins't the home page (after you log in).
What do you think, is this the guy?
Ah, yes! 100000% certain that is him.
Just sent a message through the schedule a session with Nick option from that Dreams website. Hoping he sees it and can get the site up for a day or 2 so we can download our stuff. Luckily I had saved and downloaded 2008-2015. I uploaded it all onto google docs. But would hate to not have 2016-2021.
Great, let us know if you get a response!
