Pretty impressive when you consider that Kipchoge has beaten the 1500m, 5000m, 10000m and marathon world record holders during his career

don't think he's Gerrouj/Bekele/Haile level but he is definitely up with Tergat/Lagat/Farah IMO. Don't know where other marathoners fall here (Wanjiru Kimetto Kebede Mutais Kipsang)
What an idiotic post. You put Tergat in a different class from Haile when he was consistently within ONE SECOND of the sit-and-kicker at championships? His marathon WR smashed the existing time by more than Geb did, and stood much longer. And finally, he was the most dominant XC runner ever while Geb barely ran cross and never succeeded at it.
Geb and Bekele are #1 and 2. Choose your order.
El G? Huh? He might as well have competed in a different SPORT from these guys, as a career miler who spent little time on the 5000. Everyone else you're talking about was a career 5/10 man who moved to the marathon.
Tergat is top-shelf. Putting him in a category with Mo "no times" Farah is a joke.

EPO is one hell of a drug.
You are one hell of a clown.
Typical confused Letsrun BS:
"Kiprop is so inconsistent! It must be drugs!"
"Kipchoge is so consistent! It must be drugs!"
i thought this same thing when i saw a video of him racing this spring.no marathoner running that pace looks more fluid and strong than eliud kipchoge. he doesn't look frail and brittle like the other guys, just strong and relaxed and unbeatable.

I don't about GOAT but he's probably has the GOAT running form.....especially of a marathoner. Runs like a well oiled machine.
Reminds me of Asafa Powell
