Robert "King of the hot take" Johnson tells someone to calm down. That's rich.
Rojo, I am calm, and I don't want a to get into a pissing contest, but for a major tv station to claim it's the media sponsor, and then provide that? Their coverage was a disaster. No reason to not say so.
That's funny. I thought the commentator was one of the most annoying I have ever heard. Maybe it was just that the coverage was so bad I was already annoyed. Like many other posters I don't know what's so hard about covering a 5K. Great it was live though, I guess we should be thankful for that? Seems like pretty low standards to have to be thankful it was streamed live in 2015. Flotrack does a better job. USATF should just get Flotrack to cover their Championship road events in the future if its going to be like this. I'd rather pay for a better feed than get a free one like this.

Finally, failing to pick up either the men's or the women's winner. A high-school kid with a Go-Pro or an I-Pad could do better.
Calm down. You do realize the number of people interested in watching this life is tiny. There will be on-demand coverage later no USATF.tv.

And it will continue to be tinier when coverage is so poor.

Further agreed. It's nice to get any live coverage, but competent live coverage (which would be no more expensive) would be even nicer. Ironic also to have someone who runs this website would choose to make that point in that manner. I wonder what fraction of LRC's traffic over the years has been driven by Ritz, Shalane and Molly? More than a little.
It's a bit like wishing your local (paid) sportswriter would take the 47 seconds required to figure out how cross country is scored, as long as he is being paid to to be at the meet and write an article.

Why should a crappy experience be tolerated just because the number of people watching it is tiny.
If the station, as media sponsor, can't do a basic job they should either figure out how or turn it over to someone who can.
Do you think it's ok to have no coverage of the women? Or a 30-sec shot of an old man's crotch or an abrupt ending to the broadcast?
Many local stations do a way better job for even less "interest" events.
Seemingly the welfare of the minority should be neglected in accordance with him.

Being told to calm down by rojo is like being told by Keith Richards to go to AA.
Damn Chelanga, I expected better

Good to see him racing again. Hopefully he stays healthy and has a great Olympic year.
Shame that Conley didn't get a very good race out of this one. I guess she's choosing to have a long base after injury.

Good one! 10/10
Hope they don't delete your message or ban you, but that made my day.
Be happy you got this. We used to have to wait until Monday mornin's USA Today to even get the results. Stop complaining.
