Good news; this will probably be good for his masters career as well.

Go Fish!

They may be old but they are still very fast!
Wasn't he the general in Rambo?
I get it. Sam Trautmann. +1. Nice.

Colonel
what does Nohilly mean when he says
2 time Olympic team runner up? (I know he was 4th in 92 and 96) just seems an like an odd statement
"Alternate" would be better, me thinks. But WHATEVER...He did it so it's his title to claim. Great for him!

A failing wall street area where he works forces him to quit to work for next to nothing as an assistance coach and scrambling to do the web site coaching thing in which you make next to nothing and I guess money isn't everything and following your passion is...
I am more curious about Gags/NYNJ funding? They don't have a shoe sponsor, so each athlete is responsible for own shoe contract and they then pay Gags to coach them monthly and they pay rent to home Gags owns?
How can they afford an assistant coach too on that?

No. He WON the Trials 5000m in 1992 over Bob Kennedy.
He also recently ran 4:12.33 at the BU Valentine Invitational at 46 or so to set the world record for 45-49, after shedding over 60 lbs and overcoming the long-term foot injury that cut his pro career short.
From usatf's history of the trials:
Look up John Trautmann and you'll get the results for 1992.

He's talking about Nohilly, not Trautmann.

I am guessing his pay is about 0. Hopefully Trautman saved enough from working on wall street to pay the bills
The club operates primarily on private donations. I don't think the coaches make much at all. If you want to help the sport through a little $$ their way. https://friendraising.donorpro.com/campaigns/31
throw....yes I know
