I've been out over 4 months now rehabbing and everything to no avail. Going in for arthroscopy for this reason and possibly damaged plica as well. Has Scar tissue under your patella ever kept any of you out for a long time? What did you do? Thanks.

Didn't you post about this a couple weeks ago?

I'm talking about before surgery, or anything you did besides arthroscopy that helped the problem. I guess I'm asking more about whether or not an extremely long period of Rehab (or Pre-hab)is able to fix the problem without resorting to arthroscopy. I am not keen on the idea of arthroscopy, and I would like to avoid it, but I dont know if it will eventually go away by itself. Thanks.
I got arthoscopy done and I was running in 3 weeks. I had some scar tissue removed and a plica.
