Coe and Symmonds have charisma, Rupp not so much. But yes, I could see Nike or UO plugging him into some lightweight middle management job making $200K which would allow him to live comfortably instead of burning through whatever savings he has now.

Good thing there's no such thing as a self-respecting fraternity.
Oh, there are plenty of self-respecting fraternities, but potentially not so much respect paid from the outside.

Yeah, nothing says self-respect like passing out in a pool of your collective vomit with a couple dozen "friends" who only "like" you because you were willing to let them deprive you of sleep and stick things up your butt when you were a freshman.

My main point is this: the money he is making today isn't NFL money. It will quickly burn up with daily modest living, let alone supporting himself and a growing family for 35+ years. He will certainly have to get a job or something after he retires. He's not Jordan for god's sake.
That's not true. If he's been investing his money he could easily live off the growth and dividends the rest of his life. Thats not even including if his wife's income if she works.

You claim is ONLY true for someone who lives in their mom's basement, such as yourself.
The OP is wrong as far as I'm concerned. Its not a Nike commercial. Its an Oregon football promo video. Its become a tradition that "Shout" is played between the 3rd and 4th qtr of every football game. This video will now be played regularly at Autzen football games.
Of course Nike/Phil Knight/and Oregon football intertwined together. And maybe the production was financed by Nike. But I don't consider it a Nike commercial any more than the Duck football uniforms are "Nike Uniforms".
Its my understanding this video was filmed in an LA studio on Jan 2. The day after Oregon won the Rose Bowl and all these alumni were in the same place. Marcus Mariota's shots were put in weeks later after the season was over and he declared for the NFL draft.
As always, you are wrong. Why would Eaton, Rupp and other non-footballers be in a video for Oregon football? Rupp would snap in half after a single hit from a defensive player.
