Shannon flashes Jenny the "Dagger Eyes"

Compared to the World's, this race is like a turkey trot . So Jenny wins all the turkey trots and Shannon beats her at the World Champs, and breaks Slaney's 32 year old record. Guess it is even now.

Correct, Shannon also beat Jenny in the two 1500m Diamond races that they contested.

And, BTW, Jenny's celebration today was a bit over the top for someone who doesn't consider Shannon a threat.

YAWN! Wake me when Rowbury wins a race that counts. Or wins ANY race. She needs to realize that there is more to professional running than just beating Jenny Simpson.

It is cute you refer to the U.S. Champs and DL races that Jenny has won as turkey trots.

Well back to the topic at hand and Shannon shooting Jenny "the look" now and forever to be known as, "dagger eyes." One has to admit it was pretty obvious she took great satisfaction in besting Jenny by .01 or whatever it was in her 4th place at Brussels.

But Jenny at the 5th Ave mile won the race and of course bested Shannon. Now that is something to celebrate.

By focusing on each other, these athletes are diminishing their chances of achieving the true objective - catching up to Dibaba, Sifan, and company.

They require special training to clear the bad atmoshpere between themselves and refocus on proper goals. Out of my love for the sport, I have no choice but to offer my services at a reduced rate to USATF. I will have them work on special exercises to strengthen their abilities to bond, coordinate and work towards a common goal. To have any chance at all in Rio next year, these ladies are going to have to get on it right away. Three sessions per week through next March, then weekly maintenance work.

Maybe. For starters if we could just keep Shannon in her lane rather than weaving, blocking all over the track as exemplified in her race against Molly Huddle in the 5000 at U.S. nationals Aug 2014.

Poor Molly was elbowed out of lane one and then when she tried to pass Shannon on the outside Shannon weaved and bobbled her way into lane two and Molly ended up having to go all the way out into lane 3. Thank goodness she ended up winning even with all Shannon's much practice tactics that I am sure AlbertO taught her.

Of course antics such as this do nothing to foster good moral between athletes as well as the much discussed "dagger eyes" she sent at Jenny.

So yes please offer your assistance as it is sorely needed.

Yes, please give Jenny some counseling on how to race without tackling Shannon to the ground in Zurich 2014 and pushing/ cutting her off at the line in Brussels 2015

Shannon moves left to cut off molly from coming through on the inside, then when molly moves right, Shannon moves right to block her from coming through on the outside. Molly has to move all the way into lane 3 to get by Shannon.
