I don't think most think the race is his to win in the first place so that is why they say 'what does he have to lose'.

Wow! Not used to see Felix getting whipped. Schippers keeps on a tremendous roll.
She didn't get whipped, but it is strange to not see her doing the whipping.
all we can say for certain is that she's fast....

Take your racism somewhere else.
But yes, great run by Schippers.

I hear what you/they are saying. It's just a silly position to have.
Interesting 200m race. I guess the 200 is just like distance running. The person who wins in the kick isn't necessarily the won who is the shorter distance runner. Like an 800 runer doesn't always outkick at 1500 runner.
Here the 400 runner was gunned down by the 200m runner late.

Agree with the fact that the "why wouldn't he" argument does not work. Sure he'd like an AR, but I wager he'd be just as happy winning a diamond league meet for once. So if it's up to him alone to set the pace, he won't because he wouldn't want to risk losing to True for the AR. Better to set back and try to win the race instead.
Hey, Rojo, why was my thread deleted? I was asking about dating a call girl. What is so wrong about that?
Absolutely walloped it
Interesting when you look at the body types of Schippers and Felix:
5 inches taller (8%)
22 pounds heavier (18%)
Right in line with Bolt vs Gay:
7 inches taller (10%)
37 pounds heavier (22%)
In both cases the BMI stays the same, but the bigger athlete seems to have an insurmountable advantage.
The US needs more 5'10" females and 6'5" guys running the sprints instead of going to the NBA/WNBA.
Yego is so fricken huge, such an anti Kenyan body on that guy.

I find her to be below average in the looks category
Garcia hanging on Coburn, could get drugged to a P.R.
Anyone know why Symmonds didn't bother to show up to any diamond leagues this season following USA's?
Surprised "Batman" Jackson recovered so quickly from his "hamstring injury" that hindered him in the WC. That 100 appears to have been very tight or as Gatlin saving himself for the 200. Felix needed to do some more speedwork to be competitive in the 200 so late in the season.
no drugs.no PEDsthe word you wanted was a common one: draggedor 'pulled' would have been an even better choicesorry brah, everything's fair game on an anonymous forum

You have to factor in what the European Press has been asking about whether Schippers' performance in Beijing "can be believed," and the "amazing" performance or the Dutch speed skaters in the last winter Olympics (you might ask the Norwegians about the latter). So what lab are they using to set the testosterone microdosing? Nike?
Felix has been through 3 heats of the 400 plus the 4X400 final, and it looks like Felix didn't have the speed endurance coming down the stretch that she would normally have. Schippers and Thompson ran times in Beijing that were supposedly faster than Felix' PR when she was younger and wasn't worn down by all those 400s, and still Felix almost beat Schippers and did beat Thompson.
Felix will be fine unless she does the 400 in Rio first (assuming they change the schedule to allow a double)
coburn must be pretty disappointed with her 2015 season (it was still a very good one!)
she just seemed to get slower and slower all year. over-trained?
