Crap, I mean, who was the youngest qualifier for the last marathon Olympic Trials.
None other than Mr. Jesus Christ himself...Josh Cox. I remember a big story about it.

Not sure, but I think Clint Verran was/is younger. Anybody know for sure?
Verran is older but it's close: May 17, 1975 for Verran vs Aug 9, 1975 for Cox
How about the oldest? Anyone know the oldest ever to run and/or qualify?
Don't know the particulars, but despite all the grief he gets, Doug Kurtis had to close to the oldest. 44-45yrs old?
Whatever grief Doug K gets is deserved ala Frank Shorter. Few, in the history of running have done so much to draw attention to themselves for so long.
I believe your right with DK & runningart2004 is right from the info that was let out about Josh Cox being the youngest. RArt04, when do we draw the line on this bet we took he will never run sub 2:10:30, Cox is shot. Side note, Frank Shorter won Gold at Cox's age around 24 I believe.
