I'm pretty certain this poster is FOS. Also pretty certain there are plenty of non white athletes who aren't held accountable for their actions (Ray Rice for starters).

YAY! Stupid people will do just about anything to label Brady as degenerate, liar, cheater, or bad person--up to and including attributing his race to the outcome of his case. Bravo.

Nice leap. I didn't follow the Hernandez case, but I'm assuming there was ample evidence to find him guilty.
Is there ANY evidence the Patriots intentionally deflated footballs below the limit?
The balls lost pressure from the pre-game check to halftime. Any chance it was the result of temperature changes? Incidentally, 3 of the 4 Indy balls tested at halftime also lost pressure. Should Luck be suspended as well for "cheating?"
Judge Berman: Mr. NASH, what direct evidence does the report (Wells report) present or does the NFL have that Mr. Brady was involved?
Mr Nash: None your Honor, but we can infer - (judge interrupts)
Judge Berman: I said Direct Evidence. - (pause) - (crickets chirping)
They won with their WR's getting mugged. They didn't cry, yell and expect special treatment like Brady does on national T.V.
Answer: Please provide one single example of Tom Brady crying or yelling for special treatment. One. Just one. One and I'll bow down to your supreme intelligence. Brady's work ethic is well established. Current and ex players have continually called him the hardest working player in the game.

While not an actual source, I would say just about any game where Brady gets intercepted or hit to the turf, he pops up and starts chewing out the refs. The look on his face is of a child complaining to their parents about getting hit by their sibling. Basically, how dare the defense intercept him, or hit him, or they might have been interfering with the receiver, etc. He and the rest of the Pats have adopted this persona of "we're god's gift to the nfl". There has been ~15 years of watching pats games with this behavior.
I know the above paragraph is hyperbolic, but it is how I perceive Brady and the rest of the Pats. I think a lot of people share that perception.
Also, boston sports fans in general share much of that persona, in my experience. The only worse fans would by Philly sports fans.
The pats have been a great team for over a decade, no doubt about it. They have won a bunch because they're so great. But they have been (at least) implicated in cheating events/"gates"/scandals. I believe that every NFL is filming other teams, and every team manipulates equipment, and every team cheats/bends the rules to an extent, but no one else is getting caught doing it.
No one will ever know if the cheating that they may have done was enough to alter the entire season. We're not talking doping of endurance type of impact on outcomes, but maybe a deflated football was easier to catch on some critical 3rd down. Then the patriots won solely because of slight, 1 play advantage.
I think the NFL really botched their investigation and came down too heavy-handed initially. And I know that you can't convict based on circumstantial evidence, or feelings, or perceptions, but damn there has been some fishy stuff in New England.
As for your comments about most hated football teams. In the western US, the Pats definitely are the most hated team. The Raiders haven't been relevant, with the exception of their super bowl team in 2002, to earn any hate. The Cowboys and Pats are probably the most hated.
the website, yourteamcheats.com, only shows that the pats are worse cheaters than other teams. they have a more extensive history of cheating. having a player make "illegal hits" doesn't equate to cheating. (sidenote: being penalized for pumping in addition fan noise seems dumb)
Roger Goodell was humiliated in court yesterday and rightly so. This case wasn't just about deflategate but laid waste to Goodell's policy of serving as his own judge, jury and executioner to the administration of player misconduct. Goodell can no longer dole out punishments as he has been doing since he became commissioner. Goodell overstepped his bounds and maybe the power went to his head. Judge Berman's ruling included this tidbit:
The Court is fully aware of the deference afforded to arbitral decisions, but, nevertheless, concludes that the Award should be vacated. The Award (Goodell decision) is premised upon several significant legal deficiencies, including (A) inadequate notice to Brady of both his potential discipline (four game suspension) and his alleged misconduct; (B) denial of the opportunity for Brady to examine one of two lead investigators, namely NFL Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jeff Pash; and (C) denial of equal access to investigative files, including witness interview notes.
Goodell's practice of playing lawyer and judge are over. His credibilty in these matters is shot. What the NFL needs to do is hire a true independent investigator for player punishments and change the policy. The CBA will have to be amended.
Now Goodell has foolishly announced that he will appeal Judge Berman's ruling- not a smart move. Goodell will lose. Btw, he won't be attending the Patriots home opener, what a coward.

What's dumb? Pumping in artificial crowd noise? or the associated penalty?

Seems like they'd be making the ball a bit easier to be intercepted too.
Ok friend, please please please PLEASE provide a single example of Tom Brady chewing out a ref after an interception. Seriously your first paragraph is a wet dream of subjectivity. The only thing I've seen is Brady getting angry at himself or his team mates for not playing their assignments (as other great QB's do. I once heard a sideline commentator who apparently was on the Cowboys practice squad in the 90's chide Troy Aikman b/c Aikman told him the "get the F out of the huddle b/c he doesn't know what he's doing". This is standard behavior for QB's at the top of their game).
Boston fans are annoying absolutely. But so are a lot of other fans. Yankees fans, Jets fan, Philly fans, anyone who likes an SEC football team, etc. Boston fans have experienced an unprecedented win streak (9 titles in 15 years) and so they suddenly have a lot of attention. Calling some fans "worse" than other fans is another subjective bit of crap. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
Again, please listen: the pats are hated b/c they WIN. Nothing else. They Win. The Seahawks have -by far- the most PED violations in the NFL in the past 5 years. Where is that story? I'd say that's pretty significant considering their defense is a wall of aggressive insanity. I'M NOT SAYING THE RAIDERS ARE HATED NOW--I'M SAYING THEY (AND THE STEELERS) WERE HATED IN THE 70's AND IT WAS MAINLY B/C THEY WON YEAR IN YEAR OUT. And again (can't say it enough), being hated has nothing to do with integrity, quality, or ability. Nothing. Zilch.
If you look at yourteamcheats.com and walk away thinking it proves the Pats cheat more than anyone I can't do nothin for ya man. Come on. That site chronicles a lot more than illegal hits. It's a pretty scientific analysis of rule breaking. Don't you find it interesting that the teams with the most violations are the most perennially dominant?,
I can't stop saying this: You don't like the Pats. That is your starting point. I get it, believe me I do. But it doesn't make your arguments valid. For the love of god, stop trying to jam square pegs into round holes. It's just embarrassing.
The Raiders are the most hated team of all time.
Here's a quote from someone who is an actual source, someone who maybe has a more informed perception.
