I totally agree with you about the reasons he ran LA, but does that mean you show up and run like someone with an IQ of 12?

it wouda been better for his "legacy" if he'd taken a shot at 7'17 / 7'18 in rieti on that day instead
I took a shot at 7.18 and ran 8.30 and it didn't help my legacy
Honestly Mo has great speed and endurance. Meaning with a 3:28 he should be able to run two 3:38/39sback to back. I'm no comparison to him but when I ran 4:00 1500 I ran an 8:20 3k. i know it sounds crazy for mo to run that kind of time but it's possible. just think he would need someone to pace to 2k
I couldnt have said it better, Mo needs to utilize his incredible speed n endurance while he can . He said he would try to go for the world indoor mile in March 2016 I wish if he could go for faster times in the 3 5 and 10 k tho ..sub 7 25 , 12 40 and 26 30 would really be nice

Except he has no chance for that.
Running a 7:27 won't really help hi legacy
i see comedians are rife here
why on earth woud mo only aim for an utterly worthless 7'27 ???

It was warm with high humidity. se.
No it wasn't it was 75 and the dew point was 64. They ran at 9pm. The conditions were just fine.

i have no idea why anyone regards 7'25 as much of a barrier for super-elites
it is crap !!!
morceli at his peak was probably worth 3'26.5 with ideal pacing to bell
mo is likely only 1/2s slower over 1500
mo has hugely better 5k ability than morceli
in morceli's 7'25.1wr, they jogged around until bell after opening 57.7 :
5'01.3 at 2k !!! - 7'32.0 pace !!!
6'30.9 at bell !!! - 7'31.1 pace !!!
morceli basically just destroyed ole wr with a last lap of 54.2 !!!
apart from too fast opening lap, morceli put in no serious effort until the bell
it doesn't take sir isaac newton to figure out morceli couda gone 7'21/7'22 that day if the past had been fast to bell off smooth 4'54+ at 2k & solo last 1k, considering he finished with 54.2 !!!
now, i contend that mo is very close in 1500 ability to morceli on basis of that essentially "solo" 3'28.9 in the vacuum behind Asbel, likely 3'27-flat if he'd had 2nd set of pacers in that race to take him smoothly to bell
mo's 5k is hugely superior to morceli
conclusion :
mo shoud currently make absolute mince-meat of the 7'21/7'22 morceli couda run with better pacing
Although the numbers seem crazy, I think Ventolin is actually spot on this time. I really do think that Mo could challenge 7:20, as absurd as that is. I think 3k is really his sweet spot in terms of distance, and would love to see him really go for it at 3000/2 miles at some point before it's too late.
You should start a fantasy track league.
you can't type a colon and express numbers properly?

As a fellow white dude, i'm happy to see Ryan Hall racing. I've also accepted that he is past his prime and will not compete for the win. Still, happy he's out there.
...mostly just reminds me how bitter I am that the pipeline of talent in the class behind Hall, Ritz, Meb has been nonexistent by comparison.
Don't worry, once Rupp moves up we'll have our champion. Rupp can run 2:04 unaided.
