Did I just mishear Tim Hutchins say he didn't think the 1500 rounds are cause for this? A) That is Tim right? And B) Seriously?! Maybe Ayana still gets away with it but a fresh Dibaba has not like this....

Dominant!
sub 8:20 last 3k
wOW...Dibaba faded so badly.
Forget about the triple.
I take that back about being anti-climatic.
Dibaba got beat on the final lap.
Ethiopia 1-2-3.
The talk of the Dibaba triple was clearly a bit premature.
8:20 the last 3000 woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last 3km 8.20....
Fabulous run!
Ayana shows the men How you beat mo farah
14:25 championship record for Ayana and that was off of a 4:52 first 1600!!!
Her last 1600 was 4:25!!! Sick.
Genzebe Dibaba blew almost a 4-second lead in the last 200. Almost ended up wtih no medal but kicked it end and got bronze.

I was scratching my head at that comment.
Last 3k 819 apparently.
Best us finisher not within 69 seconds. Wtf.
Why didn't any of the men try this against Farrah?

There is no man that is as good as Ayana to do the same

Who the heck thought she would be able to win the 800? Hassan ran the last 800 just as fast as Dibaba and she didn´t make it to the finals.
8:19 final 3k for Ayana. Pretty sick. Her 3k pr is officially 8:22
Dibaba's 3k pr is her 8:16 indoor world record
1500 in 9 minutes

^This absolutely! I am completely shocked, but many of us actually believed she could win 3 gold medals in a championship and she couldn't even muster a Gold/Silver! We neglected the fact that she is human in all the excitement of her 1500 dominance. That, and it's fairly clear she is just a better 1500 runner. Even in Paris when she did beat Ayana, I think it has to be said how much work Ayana did and it left her unable to respond late in the race. Match her and Dibaba evenly over 5000 fresh and...well, it'd be interesting.
Her last 3k in 8.20 is quicker than the Ethiopian 3k record. Ayana looked so easy! The weight of the moustache must have weighed Dibaba down.
This race has to be comparable to Bekele's 5k in '08, maybe even more impressive. That would be like the men closing the last 3k in 7:22-7:25. Balls.
