Kiplagat shouldn't have ducked those water sprays.

Mile to go.
Do the women know the finish line situation? It may come down to a sprint.
After the Men's debacle, it's sad that your question is not a joke.
Let's hope the organizers have the finish set up. Let's hope the runners realzie they only run 100 meters on the track. This could be a diaster from a PR perspective. I thinkt hey think they have a full lap.
Sumgong dropped 300 m to go.
Dibaba leads through the tunnel. Kirwa, then Sumgong.
DIbaba vs Kiprop
Dibaba wins by 10 m
Bahrain (eye-roll).
Hope they know where the finish is this time
Dibaba wins in the final 100m!
Kirwa third

I got to see the finish with this, and am saving it for future events. :)
Pos Bib Athlete Mark Detail
1 343 Mare Dibaba ETH 2:27:35
2 565 Helah Kiprop KEN 2:27:36
3 192 Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa BRN 2:27:39
4 576 Jemima Jelagat Sumgong KEN 2:27:42
5 564 Edna Ngeringwony Kiplagat KEN 2:28:18
I still think it's a disgrace they don't get a full lap on the track. Seriously.
Most of the drama in the race played out in the tunnel. Imagine how great that would have been to see on the track for the few fans that got out there this morning.
A great finish nonetheless.
Gotta feel for Kiplagat. 2-time defending champ ran with the leaders for like 25 mile, ends up without a medal.
Can Serena Burla finish in the top 10?
Who's that Kiprop guy who finished 2nd and why was he in the women's race?
Burla coming in 10th in about 2:31:05

He's from Kenya.
Wow................ Dibaba running fast around the track!
I felt like a bomb squad guy trying to get a link before they hit the stadium!
Thank you very much! wrote:

Whoops maybe that wasn't Dibaba, but amazing anyway!
