And to a heptathlete....
The Netherlands girl would have won the multi as week as it was this year. Her PR from last year is like 6500.

I like Gags, but he's so Old School I wonder if he even knows about ice vests? (I say this somewhat tongue-in-cheek)

Robby Andrews came through the mixed zone with ice on the back of his neck and didn't speak because of fatigue. They said he will try and come too back so it does not appear to be too bad, but he definitely was tired.
Meanwhile the Brit, Charlie Grice came through where an ice vest. Someone should have given Robby one.

Shubenkov is probably the least favorite candidate for a doper of all the winners. He has been running 13.09-13.16 for the past 3-4 years.
Doesn't really mean a thing, of course, but Shubenkov is one of the very few Russians still competing at their previous level after the ARD documentary. Well, Klishina has not declined massively I guess.

Exciting to see Robbie make the final. This bodes well for his future, the next two championship years.
We'll see how his strength holds up over the 3 races.

Wow. OHare went from 3 to 8 at the alst 2nd.
Manzano FIFTH. by .03.
Kiprop looked great. Kiplagat too. Willis moved up from like 7th with 200 to go to get 3rd. Centro 4th Manzano 5th.
Definitely looked great.
I'm calling it right now since these guys looked great in the semis. Kiprop, Kiplagat, Willis, Centro is THE MAN, and Makhloufi will all medal.
Your'ew calling for a 3-way tie for bronze? Or they give 5 medals now?

5-way for gold. These guys ALL looked GREAT!
5 people cant medal - unless youre calling a 3 way tie for 3rd (or other mathmatical variations).

But you are.
And, which is less important but also gross, your willingness to believe white people are clean *unless* they're Russian means you're a xenophobe as well.
But mostly you're a racist. Have a word with yourself.
Great post.

Great post.
The definition of a racist is one who believes one race is superior to others, or certain races are inferior to others. Where in his post did he say that he was not proud when non-whites win? You are reading WAY too much into the post - stop with the knee-jerk accusations.
I can't believe more people don't think that the track is extraordinarily fast. People in all events, from varied backgrounds are running big PRs.
Eaton's pr was 45.55 and he knocks off a half second. Most of the men 400 guys were about .5 faster than expected.
Then think of Melissa Bishop. A fabulous race, but no one would question it if it had been 1:58.5.
So maybe the track is about .5 fast per lap at 400/800 speed.
I'm speaking for 90% of LRC posters, who are out shopping for school supplies with their mommies, DOPER.
