WOW what an impressive stable.
He must be an otherworldly coach. He must really be good at spotting talent and developing it. He must really be good at applying the most successful principles to continuously prepare and peak his athletes for world record attempts and medal wins.
Let's take a closer look at the remarkable job Aden has done with acquiring and training athletes:
Hamza Driouch - popped onto the scene with a 3:35 when just 16 years old, won gold in 1500m at 2012 World Juniors, tested positive at 2012 London games while under Aden's tutelage
Laila Traby - won bronze at 2014 European Championships in 10k, found with EPO shortly thereafter
Ayanleh Souleiman - has won bronze and gold in 2013 World Championships 800m and 2014 World Indoor Championships 1500m, respectively. Owns personal bests of sub 1:43, sub 3:30 and sub 3:48 for mile. ALWAYS a contender for win on global stage
Genzebe Dibaba - currently owns 6 gold medals over various World Championships, from track to cross country; currently holds 5 world records
Makhloufi - London 1500m gold medal winner. Boasts personal bests of high 3:28 and mid 1:43.
Abubaker Kaki - won silver in Daegu at 800m. Personal best of low 1:42, high 3:31. Battled off and on with Rudisha early on
So basically, we have a coach with multiple incredible athletes, ranging from those who are always in contention for the win at major diamond league races and world championships, to one athlete (Dibaba) who is so far ahead of the rest of the world, it's almost laughable.
What a tremendous coaching job
