Galen must have listened and trained in Kenya fartlekking from one farm to another ;-)
Just a thought:
Rupp NEEDS a fast-ish pace in order to have a shot today.
As evidenced by that Portland Track Festival, it might seem obvious that Rupp's kick just isn't there this summer.
gaps are already developing. There are only 5 in the lead group - Mo, 3 Kenyans, Rupp
Lead pack is down to 5. Kamwawor, Karoki, Tanui Farah and rupp.
No Ethiopians in the lead pack.

That lap was 65.1 and Farah briefly went to the lead and that got an immediate response from Kamworor.
Last 3k ~ still slow ~ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
EPOpians cycled off.
Too much shifting back and forth by these Kenyans. NOP will smoke them last 400m
Announcers on IAAF just said, "his biggest danger could be from galen rupp"
Are we going to see a NOP 1-2?

last 4 laps have all been 65.1-65.2. Very consistent
Kenyans lost without EPO
Farah BECKONS Rupp.
Karoki is doing a good job at trying to box out Farah and Rupp.
22:55 with 4 to go
Farah has taken lead on backstretch
