that's Kim Jung Un right?
yup thats kim jung un, the almighty leader is professional athlete at every distance and event, he is also a master shape shifter, he would win every event and race if he was no sabotaged by the evil western nations
That's contingent on the Kenyans taking off, still waiting on that.

Doper.
Well the IAAF stream has cut to the heptathlon. Waddup in the marathon?
I don't pee during marathons and I couldn't hang with these guys for a single 5k.

Marathon is back.
I can't imagine a less interesting thing to cut away to other than some hurdles in the hep. Besides race walking of course.
Kimetto is DONE
Kimetto 75m out the back now.

well, 2 of them are gone .. including Kimetto.
Ayyyy where's Meucci gone? Stream cuts back and he's just disappeared
I can't tell from the screen but supposedly there's a headwind until they make a big right turn in a few minutes. Big move be coming up soon

Nevermind, there he is
Kimetto is gone. The world record holder is no where to be seen. As they were showing heptathlon, the chinese tv kept it on the marathon. We were like, "Is kimetto up there?" No he is not.
THey didn't show him getting dropped. So the international feed did a good job of showing a fun runner leading the race but missed the WR holder being dropped.
Korir of Kenya also has been dropped but can still be seen.
Argh! Back to the Hep!

He's back. Do not worry. He's only just getting warmed-up.
The Italian strategy is brilliant, trying to cook everyone with surges. It already killed Kimetto.
Women's winner in 2013 did the same thing.
Please get back to the marathon.

Not only that, but wasting time on the frickin introductions for some Hep thing that no one cares about. But, yeah, we got to see the meaningless first 5K of the marathon in its entirety.

Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
