What do you do when a local elite runner in a community takes testosterone and then goes and cleans up the local road race prizes? There isn't ways local road races are going to regulate that, however it's obviously cheating and the 40+ year old runner admits to it for "health purposes." He had been on it for 2 years after collapsing during a half marathons bc he tried an only greens diet (duh) and then tested slightly low for his testosterone levels. Som health nut doc wrote him a rx for testosterone and he has since tried going off it but couldn't perform the same and so he's just stayed on it. He trains hard and runs fast, but he's getting extra help. What do you do in this situation?

you crack this cheating punkassbitch doper across the kneecaps with a baseball bat

You should one up him and start doping. If the only reason he beats you is because he dopes, then you should beat him if you dope. After all it's only the drugs that make him better. It has nothing to do with natural talent and/or training.

If he takes testosterone, you take EPO.
If he takes EPO, you use blood doping. -

I'd start by laughing at him for spending a thousand dollars a year on a drug so that he could win a few plastic trophies and gift cards to the local running shop. -

A local elite? You should be looking to him for advice. Next race, go up to him when he's in a group and ask for advice; in particular, ask him how the doping thing is working for him, and if you can get a referral to his doctor. I'm sure he'll appreciate the opportunity to mentor a lesser runner. -
Just get someone to look official and tell him to pee in a cup after a race. If he runs away there you go. If he's got small testies and boobies then you've got your answer too.

"If he takes testosterone, you take EPO.
If he takes EPO, you use blood doping."
-just goes to show the lack of knowledge on this board. Average age here? Maybe 19-ish, with the majority interested in track and field for approx 2 years. Incidentally, utilization of Epo IS blood doping. Moral of the story: don't come here for advice on anything. -

If he's getting a doctor's prescription for the stuff he's probably got insurance paying for it and isn't spending a thousand dollars a year. -
All the other replies are incorrect.
It's Lets Run; you name him, shame him and let nature take it's course. -
He is competing in masters division at local races. Does it even matter? Seriously, nobody cares about those stupid age group trophies. You will be a better person for not caring about meaningless trinket.
