Could Pre run 1:42?
I'm certain you make a habit of going to work on off hours for no pay. I mean, who wouldn't?
no doubt
I still find it very interesting that no other member of the team for china has stepped forward to truly back him up. Ok a few have tweeted "you go nick" or some dribble like that, but not 1 has said that they too will not compete unless the wording is changed.
Makes me really think that this is all just 1 more move to keep his name in the media.
I for one really hope that USATF stands strong can calls his bluff.
No.
Nick's job is to promote his sponsor. He's earning every penny they're paying him.
The difference was Pre was doing this as he approached his prime. Nick is doing it well after his prime

This isn't interesting at all. As mentioned in every other thread, Nick is making a choice to jeopardize his spot on the team, and even if the verbiage of some stupid team gear agreement upsets another athlete, there is no reason everyone else should be wiling to forfeit their spot as Nick might. If I was on the team I would do the same thing these other athletes have done. Send him some supportive BS tweet and pack my Nike bags with Nike shoes, Nike socks, Nike underwear, and my mother FN Nike team USA jersey.
To each their own.
Nic is Nike's and USATF's worst nightmare...he is killing them and showing how they are ruining the sport..go Nic!
He lacks the scoliosis and moustache to be like Pre.
Nick will replace pre wrote:

No cause Pre is dead, but Nick can't run 1:42 either since he is on the downward side of his career hill
I'll be the first in line to buy a "STOP NIKE" t-shirt when Brooks makes them even though I have 120 race t-shirts in my closet.
Yes; There's a lot I like him, but his PR campaigns tend to be self-aggrandizing, whereas Perfontaine seemed genuine. My sense is Nick has too much time on his hands. He should consult with Bowerman about getting a part-time job at lumber mill or maybe a bartender position would fit his schtick better.

You're right Symmonds is completely washed up.
The guy hasn't won a medal in a global championship in almost two years. Or a US outdoor title in a couple of months. Stick a fork in him already.

Pre wishes he had that option.
He hasnt done much for the past 2 years he got lucky at us nationals thanks to the stupidity of duane soloman. Might not be completely washed up but his best days are past.
Only if he grew a mustache

No, but I think you're trying hard to be an idiot.
Because he stands up for what's right? I wish more people would try to be like Prefontaine.
YES - seems he fancies himself the new Pre - and couldn't be more wrong...steve was never into greed or self-centered like nick...wish nick could live a year in steve's shoes...working 2 jobs...no subsidies...trailer park...they'll never be movies on nick's life...steve was special..you can find a nick anywhere...start in the nfl..mlb...nba...talented and greedy
