A couple unfortunate responses here. Folks, I was asking if anyone had issues running at a slow pace for hours longer than they've ever run before. That's it. If it was a buddy, no one would care.

OP, please answer these questions.
I do long runs usually 8:15-8:45 pace. I'm not in great shape right now -- maybe 3:40 marathon shape. She's been running for years and this is her first time running more than a half and she gave it her all in the two halfs she ran and PR'ed around 1:55. So no I don't think she has a 3:30 in her. She also struggles with neuroma in one foot which sometimes limits her training, and has zero interest in tempos/intervals, so it's mainly just mileage for her, and not big mileage. Her training plan is going well but again this is her first 26.2 and she and I will both be happy if she can finish without stopping and runs 10:30-11 min pace. She's not heavy.
