I will say again the time period for the tests was 06 to 08, Kelly retired in 05

in a thinly veiled reference to the athlete he said she is due to receive an award at a ceremony in about 2 weeks?
what award would that be?
He actually says celebrity tv program (link below); so not necessarily an awards ceremony
http://www.newstalk.com/Paul-Kimmage-on-doping-scandal:-This-stuff-costs-lives-it-ruins-lives-and-it-has-to-be-addressedCelebrity Big Brother starts on 27th August apparently; could be that?
And the people who have allegedly reviewed the docs in question are saying this person was made a Dame by the queen. So one of these details isn't correct.
Citation? The previous articles stated 2003-2012 for the scope of the tests and the athlete was "of the last decade" which is vague enough to include Dame Kelly Holmes, who competed in '05, however poorly (2:06/4:06..post-doping?).

In Seppelt's first documentary, data from 2006-2008 was reviewed. In the second documentary data from 2001-2012.
The data 2006-08 had one highly suspicious British athlete (could be Radcliffe or Ohuruogou), the data 2001-2012 had a British athlete whose values were ridiculously off the charts - this athlete is Dame Kelly Holmes.
I have just listened to the Paul Kimmage radio interview and my feeling is that when he says this athlete will appear on some celebrity programme in two weeks time, I don't think he meant specifically, just that she is someone who pops up a lot in the media.
It is also almost impossible to think that Kimmage believes it to be anyone else other than Paula Radcliffe. Kelly Holmes has no real regular media presence, nor does Christina Ohurugou. But that doesn't mean Kimmage knows for a fact... But he makes it clear it is a woman.
I can only imagine it's Radcliffe but she was running like shite at that time.
What celeb TV shows has Radcliffe been on?
I know of another athlete in who has been on these shows over the last 10 years.
Dame Kelly Holmes was in ITVs Mission survive.
The Kimmage comments have totally changed my mind on this.
Radcliffe doesn't appear on these shows nor is she revered as this hero...
Also the comments for more money to be spent on testing originally that made me think Paula but then I read the Sunday Times closely.
The more money being spent on tesis not a public conversation, it is the private conversation between the journo and the athlete last weekend.

Seriously, how do you know this? You're saying it's two people, but there's only ever been talk about one high profile British track and field star (with suspicious results between 2006-2008). This same athlete is the one who has been threatening to sue if their name is released, since the INITIAL documentary. Where is there any mention that there's another high profile british T&F star with dodgy results from a different time period - is that athlete also threatening to sue?
I wish that someone who actually knows would just say, rather than about 10 people saying completely different things, claiming they have friends in the media etc. There's been 4 pages and it's no clearer who it is :(
My gut feel is Paula; after everything I've read she fits best, but I really hope it's not.
Don't forget all those training trips to Albuquerque.
I wonder when Mr Shvetsov will become part of the inquiry?
Apparently this is a distorted image of the list of suspicious athletes. The GBR name has a short first name and long surname.
Paula Radcliffe is on the BBC's athletics coverage all the time. She is actually very good but anyone watching the European Championships, the Commonwealth Games etc, even the Diamond League events, see her and she projects an image of purity (which I've always been inclined to believe, mea culpa!) She is generally admired and known in the UK... and it is also quite clear to me that she is who Paul Kimmage means. I don't know if he is any better informed than us, although as an ex-writer for the Sunday Times, it seems at least credible that someone has told him directly...
Agreed. It seems quite clear that Radcliffe is who Kimmage is referring to. I don't see how he could be referring to Holmes.

Given the fairly crude threat to sue I doubt the athlete in question is the sharpest tool in the box.
Look up British libel law.
The best thing that could possibly happen is for that document to get uploaded to The Pirate Bay where it's access cannot be restricted. We need a new world order in athletics. The sponsors have all the power and they would rather have a dirty sport than take a reputation bashing.
There must be dozens of people out there who posses a copy of that list. If one of them is reading this: Do not the noble thing. Screw the sponsors. Shame the thieves. Save athletics. Leak the list.
Beacause he talks about Celeb TV shows. Paula doesn't go on these.
I also think the December article is un related...
when I first listened to Kimmage I though it must be Paula, when I listened again I changed my mind.
The two reasons, celeb reality tv shows and being wheeled out as a hero. That applies to the other athlete.
Another athletes has appeared on a few celeb TV shows.
