You're lucky they serve bacon and eggs at all. Pretty soon eating meat will be considered inhumane.

pushing it a bit we'll include Tonawanda just because it has a stand of trees that have been hugged so much the bark has worn off and you can see the imprint of hippie bead bracelets in the bare wood.
Woodstock and Bethel are the commercial centers for faux hippies.
The expression was "carded" back when hippies were actually hip.
I actually translated the header into I was identified for the...
local smalltown police often have shopkeepers inform them of possible homeless people being in the area. Community vigilance on matters such as this help insular groups from having 'outsiders' threaten their idea of a bucolic community.

the clerk had the hots for you and in that case you might start an "Is the bagel girl hot for me" thread.
Although I've been drinking in bars since Jerry Thomas was actually tending bar I never was carded for age.
What? you don't know how to mow someone's lawn?
No the correct way to suggest this is to say open a Custom Landscaping Consultancy and these days one manicures a lawn one does not mow.

What was your major?
Please tell me you were trolling.
26% of 19-34 year olds live at home.
I've been IDed for something similar and I'd argue stupider...
I'm 18 and I admit I'm fairly short and look well under that age, most people guess 15....but nonetheless I'm 18. Well, now when I go into Sams Club or Walmart to get samples they ask for "parent permission".....I mean good Lord I genuinely had to prove to one of the old bags doing samples that I was 18 with my ID....
She apologized of course but said due to a recent lawsuit they had to start asking everybody who looked underage for parent permission.....
What? Even if I had been a 15 year old, A 15 year old can't decide if they are allergic themselves? And the court can't see it that way either?
Ridiculous....but I agree I've been "carded" for things just as stupid/if not stupider

ID to buy bacon? Absolutely necessary to protect the public's health.
ID to Vote? Never, that's an invasion of privacy and would interfere with our ability to rig elections.
Likely anybody who buys bacon is put into a database for animal rights' activists to stalk and (irony, yes) "hunt down".
On our college campus, the campus police and ask you for a student ID at any time. I was standing in line to buy coffee one morning before classes began, and the campus cop asked everyone in line for their university ID.
Jesus the liberalization of this country is getting out of hand. Can't walk into a store and buy a sandwich without getting carded because the food is "dangerous"? How about that store leave the decision making up to the customer and drop their policy of harassment? No, I would not go to that store anymore if I were in your position. These are the same people who want to call social services on you for taking your kids to McDonald's. My heart breaks for this country.
