Hey man no worries.I'm just trying to give more credit to guys like Brian and Jeff because I think they actually have worked harder than guys like me in running (they are also older than me). Knowing a bit about how Jeff trains now I'd say he is very smart with his training and his progression comes from his dedication and long-term plan. Part of training at a high level is taking risks with training (and risking injury in return ). Those guys and guys like Nick Arciniaga have flat out have run more miles than guys like me. I'm a big wuss with mileage sometimes. They are way more talented than a runner like me for sure, but they worked really really hard and gave up a lot to run 2:10-2:11. I don't like it when people use the "talent" excuse all the time. Those guys have laid it on the line and I respect that - that's all I'm saying.
