It could be that knowing how little the make -- relative to other pro athletes -- would discourage kids from getting started in the sport.It is strange that salaries/winnings/contracts are kept secret in fringe sports but public in the larger ones (NFL,NBA,MLB,tennis, golf, just to name a few).
