This past weekend I saw an old guy - 55 maybe? - running with two good-looking women who were likely in their late twenties. All three were pretty fit. I was on a long run and started thinking about the situation...
On one hand, I wanted to high-five the guy for staying fit and keeping the attention of two young hotties, even if it is just to meet for a run. At best, he is fit at 55 and banging two fit women after the run. At worst, he is fit and gets to look at two good-looking women while he grinds out a long run. I had some nice trees and a sunny day, but he had that plus two pairs of nice bun huggers.
On the other hand, a part of it struck me as sad, like this guy was trying way too hard with the shaved chest and everything. The girls have possibly friend-zoned the hell out of him and he likely doesn't have a family or anything. Poor guy.
I am not a mean or jealous type, so I am hoping he is happy regardless of his situation. As a young guy, I am wondering how I will feel at 55. Will I be shaving my chest and meeting young girls to run (followed by more, maybe)? Or will I be married and hanging out with my family? Will I be a sad old guy who tries way too hard?
Would love to hear some experiences from older LRC guys.
