WAY TO GO, CORNELL MEN! WOW!
GO BIG RED!
WAY TO GO, CORNELL MEN! WOW!
GO BIG RED!
I note that all six Ivy teams in the NE Regional meet finished in the top nine--the top quarter of the field. Well done, gentlemen!
Based on my understanding of the results and team qualifiers, I count 2 teams and 8 individuals going to Louisville.
Penn men was the only auto team qualifier as they finished 2nd in their region. Princeton women got an at large berth due to their successful season and 3rd place finish in their region.
Individual qualifiers include Giordano, Schrudowitz, and Smith for the women Northeast; Rainero, Dooney, Rutherford, and Eimstad for the men northeast; and Montgomery for the women MidAtlantic. These people were within the top 4 individuals who did not qualify as a team. Giordano won the NE region. Both Giordano and Dooney will be heading to NCAA XC for the third straight year. Hopefully my count is consistent with the official individual qualifier release....
But congrats to all runners.
