I don't think I've ever had a fan before, this is a bit weird.
I still watch, with the understanding of what it is I'm watching.
I'm glad Bolt is gone, hopefully forever.
Coleman is fun to watch accelerate, but I'm not a huge fan of his. I don't see him as "the next one", yet.
Lots of young guys coming up, who knows what they are doing, but there will be a real changing of the guard in the next few years. We're kind of in transition, you can feel it. RSA and other parts of Africa are new horizons, both for talent and doping. Old guys like Gatlin and even Rodgers still holding on. Would like to see comebacks by some lesser lights like Bailey-Cole, and am looking forward to more internationalism in sprinting.
The women will be particularly interesting with the rise of Ta Lou, the comeback of SAFP. Would like to see Asian women make the kind of dent in sprinting that the men have been making.
Still watching, still semi-interested, but not with the same zeal that I used to be. Thankfully there is the web for live streaming of meets, because NBC has become unwatchable (Olympic Channel is better even though it is an NBC property).
