I can remember 5km races in college that felt like marathons! I can remember marathons that felt like 5kms!

And speaking of Falmouth... what is this .1 crap? Anyone run it? You pass the 7 mile marker about 10-15 meters from the finish! In the results I think they still calculate pace based on 7.1 (which makes you look faster than you really are)... what would be so horrible about advertising the actual distance of the race, which is probably 7.01 miles.

Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
